I am pleased to state the most of the activities planned by different Division/Centers have been carried out successfully. This achievement would not have been possible without the commitment and dedication of the staff of the Department of Health Services working in the difficult and hard areas. However, more efforts are required to deliver quality health care services meeting the aspiration of the people of AJ&K.

The facts and figure presented in the reports are based on data generated by Health Management Information System (HMIS) and other sources in the health sector from gross root level.

This report provides comprehensive information regarding health policies, strategies, interventions, services coverage and innovative achievements made in the last fiscal year, as well as the issues emerged during the year 2019. This report also covers the progress of activities carried out by External Development partners during the reference years.

This report serves as commendable tool to decide on replicating the good aspects of the program and also learn lessons from less successful ones.
