  • The project “Establishment of Cancer Hospital in Muzaffarabad” was approved (FY 2021-22) through Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) costing Rs. 3413.947 M
  • 30 Kannal land at Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) handed over to Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) for construction of operational building

We started with 11 Civil Dispensaries and only 30 beds in 1947; the year of independence, and developed a remarkable health infrastructure for the people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
